gotta love 1st birthdays...

will post more pictures later...maybe--and this is like a month later than it should have been too-- lots going on...sorry-- oh yeah and that pink frosting i decided to smear on her forehead...died her little head pink--looked like a rash...

So this past weekend we got the chance to finally get some family photos done...and they turned out so good. I was worried simply for the fact that my kids didn't really want to get pictures hence the following photo...
But the rest turned out really good and i am so glad Alicia Foster agreed to take them...no matter how mean i was to her when we were little....thanks leish!

Just because Kristen said so....and Vegas was Awesome

So we are back from Vegas....sad I know- but we missed our babies!! Between staying out until 3:00am and seeing tons of great things we are happy to be home...recovering-- We started out the vacation as soon as we arrived in Vegas-- we went to a burlesque show at the Orleans-which for those who don't know it's a type of dancing/stripping from the 50's so it isn't as bad as you would think--except for the following-- we were quite surprised to see an at least 75 year old veteran of this lost art-- not only surprised a bit weirded out- but what do you do?

We walked around all the vendors the first night and watched a couple bands play all in all it was a good first night--
The second day was the car show-- so we got ready and went over-- it was really great-- there were tons of vendors selling stuff for alot cheaper than they were in the hotel so we stocked up on tons of things- Cody got some new pin striping stuff to pin strip the Packard when it is painted and he is really excited to start pinstriping some stuff-- there were random people that were asking to take pictures of me next to cars and that was a little weird and it never got less weird but i guess it was fun- but i will tell you i'm no model-- but here are some pictures of the cars we saw and liked---

This last picture is of us a the tiki party-- the sun was really bright so i didn't get any good pictures of the packed party but it was full of crazy rockabilly bands and people-- fun stuff we will definatally be back next year-- with our cars--

it's the thought that counts...Right?

So it was our 5 year anniversary on Friday and when I woke up that morning i found these on the table....and i was very surprised and excited--- then i took a second look and noticed they had not made it through the night. How sad-- he had obviously tried very hard and thought ahead this time-- and I'm sure his reaction was priceless when he went to find the flowers he had thought ahead to buy to surprise me with, only to find them dead! These flowers will not be forgotten and I'm sure will be talked about-- they are actually better than alive ones-- only because when we look back on this anniversary and wonder what we got for each other i'm sure i will not forget---dead flowers-- so sweet--- really though it was funny...



on another note-- thursday my sisters little girl was over to play and they were playing in our daughters room and were very quite-- so we went to check on them and this is how we found them....they were sleeping-- so they said-- but when we said ok-- then close your eyes grayson turns to his cousin and says-- no leave them open!! so apparently he sleeps with his eyes open which explains all the noise during "nap" time--- any ways we let them "sleep" for a little bit and went back in and found they had assumed a more comfortable possition--



so silly--- i love these kids-- they never surprise me-- or ever leave my life dull...


also...weird picture i know-- but i just had to post something about it because i'm so happy/excited about my acrillic toe nails i had done the other day-- it's pink zebra stripes- and anyone who wants a manicure/pedicure and wants a job well done you need to go to serenity salon spa and tanning--- 745-1553 and ask for erica-- she does an awesome job!!!

So I'm really really irritated at the rate things become obsolete! Cody got me the ipod touch last year for my b-day and already because it is the 1st gen of ipod touch there are so many new apps that don't freakin work on it-- what the H? Never again am i buying another tec item....i can't really say that but everytime apple comes out with a newer cooler app for the ipod i want to punch someone mearly for the fact that it won't work on my fossil of an ipod....it's only a year old...ewww irritating!
